InvesTT Trinidad and Tobago attends the CAIPA Regional Investor of the Year Awards in Jamaica

The Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA) in conjunction with Caribbean Export will hold this year’s Regional Investor of the Year Awards to recognize regional investors whose contributions have had significant impact on the development of the region. InvesTT will be represented by its President Christopher Lewis and Chairman Moonilal Lalchan at the event which is the opening event for the Outsource to the Caribbean conference. The event will be held at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Hotel, Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The team cleared Jamaica's Immigration at 12 noon Jamaica time, where they were welcomed by very helpful #Jampro representatives who guided them to the chartered bus for the three hour drive to the main venue in Montego Bay.

A Three-In-One event

Day 1: Meeting of Caribbean Ministers of Investment and Trade.

The Chairman of InvesTT, Mr. Moonilal Lalchan will be representing our Minister of Trade and Industry at this session.

Day 2: The inaugural Outsource to The Caribbean Conference .

This event is intended to attract BPO investors to Caribbean and promote the Caribbean as a place to invest. After the recent active hurricane season, we are sending the message that the Caribbean is open
for business.

InvesTT will be joined at the OCC by Trinidad and Tobago International Financial Center #TTIFC whose mandate includes financial and accounting process outsourcing. We have coordinated marketing materials with TTIFC including a BPO brochure and look forward to a successful conference with the securing of actionable leads.

Day 3: CAIPA Annual General Assembly.

As 1st vice president of CAIPA, Christopher Lewis will be contributing to the deliberations as they coordinate strategies to
increase FDI to the region.
